Incubus have become one of the most popular alternative acts in North America over their lengthy career, something that goes towards justifying Monuments And Melodies, their first greatest hits compilation. Their most popular single, Drive, is an obvious inclusion, as are many other of the bands best-loved works, like Wish You Were Here and Anna Molly. From their early funk-inspired sound to their more mature, progressive later tunes, Monuments And Melodies is a must-have for newcomers to the band. Fans, however, will relish the second disc, a collection of B-sides and three previously unreleased songs.
