2010 Election Manifesto Unveiled by Pirate Party
It calls for a revamp in copyright law and customer privacy online.
The Swedish branch of the Pirate party won two seats in last year's EU elections.
Its UK manifesto disputes that copyright law has become "biased" as a consequence of money and pressure from lobbying groups.
The party's manifesto affirms, "Currently copyright carries on for more than 70 years after the author of a work dies. We believe… 10 years of copyright protection is long enough".
It also says that shorter copyright will motivate artists to continue producing new work and will also impede huge businesses from continuously reselling content we have already paid for.
The party is also summoning for a descriptive warning label to be put on any products including DRM, to inform the public on the "defects" innate in the products.
These comprise area coding, or products, which can be remotely turned off by the company, or must "phone home" and would therefore stop working if the maker went broke.

Flyleaf-Set Apart This Dream
Close your eyes little girl
You're a princess now
You own this world
Twirling in your twirly dress
You're the loveliest far above the rest
You build your castles in the skies
Stars reflecting off your eyes
And angels sing on silver clouds
And no one cries screams or shouts'
Oh set apart this dream
Set apart this dream for me
Close your eyes pretty girl cause its easier when you brace yourself
Set your thoughts on a world far off
Where we only cry from joy
Oh set apart this dream
Set apart this dream for me
Oh lovely and beautiful
Precious and priceless
You're so much more than you know
Heart of the purest gold
Pure clean and white snow
Clothed in such splendor
Oh what a beauty for me.
Oh set apart this dream
Set apart this dream for me.
You didn't come this far just to be plundered here
Tie up the ropes in pure strength
Sleep in this haven, the King holds your favor
With love much greater than you dreamed..............

Jethro Tull - Locomotive Breath
In the Shuffling madness
of the locomotive breath,
runs the all time loser,
headlong to his death.
He feels the piston scraping
steam breaking on his brow
old Charlie stole the handle and the
train won't stop going
no way to slow down.
He sees his children jumping off
at stations one by one.
His woman and his best friend
in bed and having fun.
Crawling down the corridor
on his hands and knees
old Charlie stole the handle and
the train won't stop going
no way to slow down.
He hears the silence howling
catches angels as they fall.
And the all time winner
has got him by the balls.
He picks up Gideons Bible
open at page one
old Charlie stole the handle and
the train won't stop going
no way to slow down.
